Well I am glad you all arrived safely in Austin, quite an adventure and I love adventures!. Enjoy Austin, say hello to Lance’s chief photographer (super lady-Liz Kreutz) and introduce yourselves to the announcer ( Jeff Roak) and have fun!
Regards, Joe

WELL DONE and congrats. I have really enjoyed following the blogs all week.
As many of you know, I have been training to a 1/2, you may also know I have had some knee problems recently. After reading some of the stories the week, especially Laurens’ on Tuesday, it really put things into perspective, my problems are nothing. I went out for a run Tuesday night and could not stop thinking about the struggles you guys were going thru and the struggles of the warriors, like Jeni, Laurens, Rene, Sally, My cousin Jennifer, etc. These stories and thoughts of all you guys have gone thru inspired me to keep going when sometimes I wanted to stop. At the end of my run, I realized I had just completed a PB for distance….7.2 MILES! Can you believe that.
I tell this story so you guys realize the power you have to inspire people to do things they don’t think they can. THANK YOU.

Enjoy the weekend, you have earned it.

PS…
Try and keep Jeni out of trouble!
